Selected cases

Cases I’ve fought — and won.

Crown Court · Murder R v CWF & Ors (2025)

Acquitted of murder

The client was charged with the gravest offence in our law — murder. We fought the case head-on and dismantled the prosecution’s account of how the death occurred.

Acquitted of murder Cleared of murder and convicted only of the lesser offence of manslaughter, sentenced to 8 years.
Crown Court · Attempted murder R v AH & Ors (2025)

Attempted murder reduced

The client was accused, with a co-defendant, of stabbing the victim nine times and arrested for attempted murder — an allegation carrying 20+ years. We challenged the case at every turn.

Charge reduced · 20+ years avoided Attempted murder dropped to s.18 GBH; the client received 3 years, serving 40% before release on licence.
Crown Court · Class A drugs R v NCD (2024)

Possession with intent to supply

The client was found with a quantity of drugs and a ‘line’ phone, and also lived with learning difficulties. We ran the defence of modern slavery, showing he had been exploited rather than offending.

Unanimously acquitted The jury cleared him on every count.
Crown Court · Class A drugs R v RA (2025)

Possession with intent to supply

A quantity of class A drugs was seized from the client’s home address. We scrutinised the evidence and put the prosecution to proof in front of a jury.

Found not guilty The jury returned a verdict of not guilty.
Crown Court · Class A, B & C drugs R v HA (2026)

Suspended sentence secured

The client was found with a quantity of class A, B and C drugs, with the prosecution relying on data drawn from three mobile phones. We secured credit through an early plea and made detailed representations on sentence.

No immediate custody Drawing on the Sentencing Act 2026, the court imposed a 3-year suspended sentence order — the client walked free.

Every case is different and turns on its own facts. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.
